Splash! A Century of Swimming and Style

A major exhibition celebrating our enduring love of the water over the last 100 years. Featuring over 200 objects curated to explore the full spectrum of the design of swimming — from sports performance and fashion, to architecture.
Working alongside Scott Whitby Studio, Beam created a subtle underwater effect to complement the theme, moving from bright primary blue to an oceanic deep sea green, immersing the visitor. Objects were carefully lit in bright, poppy showcases and across large plinths, whilst still bearing in mind the conservation requirements that come with textiles.
