‘Coming of Age’ at the Wellcome Trust explores the experiences and perceptions of ageing, inviting visitors to consider how society might evolve to support us all in ageing better.

The exhibition design uses track lighting to carefully frame the objects on display, while maintaining a warm and accessible atmosphere. Showcases incorporate a combination of mini spotlights and linear lighting elements, enhancing the intricate details of smaller items.

In the final section, Liminal Space, the atmosphere shifts to something more playful. Here, the lighting is synchronised with an audio track, creating a multisensory experience that encourages emotional engagement as visitors interact with the exhibits.
